Are these brackets able to bear 25mm thick MDF shelving 14” depth and 53.5” length?
What should the spacing be between brackets?

Thank you for your enquiry.
While the thickness of the shelf is ok, the depth and length would make the shelf too heavy overall, and these brackets wouldn't be suitable. You would need a bracket that will extend farther out under the shelf and unfortunately we don't have anything like this. I'm very sorry that these brackets won't be suitable for what you require.
