What is PVD? Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) is a technique used to deposit thin films of one atom (or one molecule) at a time onto various surfaces, often metal, to give them a hard durable coating.
PVD finishes are produced in a wide range of colors, including gold, rose gold, nickel, chrome, black chrome, copper, brass, and bronze. They can also be finished in a mirror polished, satin, matt, or brushed finish, which makes them perfect for internal door handles, cabinet handles and knobs.
Not only does PVD improve the durability and finish, but it has no chemical waste or water pollution in it's process, which makes it environmentally friendly!
