Profile handles, or flush handles as they're sometimes known as, are a unique and sleek design for that 'hidden' handle on your cabinet doors and cupboard drawers.
Here at The Handle Studio Ltd, we have a wide range available in various finishes to choose from.
The handles themselves are primarily made of aluminium or zinc alloy to keep weight at a minimum, and are less than 1mm in thickness, generally around 0.75mm.
The only exception to these would be the polished nickel profile and the antique copper. These are made of solid brass and are 2mm in thickness.
Profile handles are ideal for a 'handle less' style of kitchen. Neatly hidden on the top of cabinet drawers and doors, they give a sleek and contemporary look. Many styles range from 50mm in length right up to 500mm in length. They are suitable for doors and drawers of 18mm to 20mm in thickness.
The beauty of this type of handle is that it can be positioned anywhere along the door/drawer edge, and is attached to the back of the door/drawer which then overlaps the edge, leaving just enough to grip and pull open the door/drawer.
The profile handles at The Handle Studio all come with the fixings that you will need. They are cross headed wood screws and are approximately 15mm in length.
The range that The Handle Studio offers, are a Brushed Aluminium, White or Black Finish, Antique Bronze and Polished Chrome in the aluminium and zinc material. The solid brass material profile handles include the Antique Copper and the Polished Nickel. The most recent addition to the range of aluminium profile handles are the curved Matt Black and Matt Grey. A subtle and contemporary addition to any kitchen unit.
