Replacing cabinet handles can be a bit daunting if you've not done it before and not sure where to start. You find the handle you want to replace your old ones with, and are then asked what size you need?

Hopefully here, we can help you along the way...

It is important to note, that if you're replacing handles and don't want to drill new holes in your cupboard doors and drawers, then you need to know what the hole centre size is. This measurement is the distance from the centre of one screw hole to the centre of the other screw hole, bear in mind that the majority of retailers will have these measurements in millimetres (mm). You can take this measurement from an existing handle, or if you've disposed of them already, then from the holes on the doors/drawers.

See the example below

Once you get your measurement, you will be able to narrow down the search considerably. As in the example shown, the hole centre would be taken as 159-161mm, the standard size for this would be 160mm, and that is what you're looking for. A millimetre either size of the standard size, shouldn't matter, it will still fit.

On The Handle Studio website, there is a filter to narrow the search for handles using the hole centre size. From the website home page, click on 'Handles' top left of the first banner (Screenshot 1.1).

Scroll further down the page to the filters showing on the left hand side (Screenshot 1.2).

Click on the hole centre tab and it will open up to show all hole centre sizes available on the website (Screenshot 1.3). Once you select the required size, the page will reload to show products available in that size.
