Delivery
At The Handle Studio Ltd we are committed to bringing you a fast, efficient and cost-effective way of delivery.
All of our products are packaged carefully and in most cases, they are wrapped individually in protective covers. We also use recycled packaging whenever possible and also use bio-degradable packing materials.
It is your own responsibility to check your order once received, as errors and shortages cannot be rectified after 3 working days.
The delivery services we use will be either DPD Local which uses a 1 to 2 hour window predict service, so on the day of delivery, you will either receive a text message or an email giving you an estimated delivery time within a 1 to 2 hour window. You can also arrange to have your parcel delivered to 1 of the 2500 pickup shops throughout the UK. PLEASE NOTE, should you make a request to us, or directly to DPD, to leave your parcel in a safe place, you are accepting liability for the parcel being left within the boundaries of your property, it will no longer be our responsibility once it is in the hands of the courier. If you prefer to have your parcel delivered to a neighbour, please use that address for delivery when placing your order.
We also use Royal Mail 48hr tracked service which will also give you a notification by text or email.
Your Order
All orders are processed where possible, the same day during office working hours. If stock is available in our warehouse, and your order is placed before 2pm it will be packed and dispatched the same working day. You will receive an e-mail from us saying that your order(s) have been dispatched, providing you have given a valid e-mail address, please check your junk/spam folder if your email is not in your main inbox.
Orders placed after 4pm Monday to Friday will be processed the next working day, weekend orders will be processed the following working day (generally a Monday unless it is a bank holiday, then it will be the Tuesday). Should stock not be in our warehouse at the time of the order being placed and needs to be ordered in from our suppliers, we would expect to dispatch within 48hrs once goods have been received. Any supplier delivery that exceed 48hrs, you will be notified by e-mail or telephone to be advised of any delay and we will aim to provide you with a delivery date. Please also DO NOT employ any tradesman until you are in full receipt of your goods.
In most cases our customers receive their order within 3 working days after the order has been dispatched but please allow up to 7 working days before contacting us unless stated otherwise, PLEASE NOTE DELIVERY TIMES ARE FROM THE DATE OF DISPATCH, NOT THE DATE OF ORDERING. Each and every parcel is weighed and a record kept before they leave our premises. Please note that no deliveries are made during bank holidays, but should continue as normal the following working day.
In the rare occasions when an item(s) is out of stock, we aim for deliveries to be dispatched within 3 - 10 working days but we will contact our customers either via e-mail or telephone to confirm delivery date.
Finesse Design Range
Finesse Design are based here in the UK at their County Durham factory, as these products are hand made we don't keep huge stocks at any one time, should we be out of stock when you place your order, you will be contacted to give you an approximate delivery date, this is normally around 3 weeks from the time of your order, however please be aware that on the rare occasion this can be as long as 5-6 weeks, as they may need to be manufactured. Delivery Prices
All of our delivery prices are determined by the weight of the product and its destination, so the following applies, All delivery times are subject to stock availability, and only begin FROM THE DATE OF DISPATCH and not the order date.

All orders over £79 in value will be delivered free of charge, standard delivery parcels up to the weight of 1.5kg will be delivered by Royal Mail 48 tracked service, for parcels over 1.5kg these will be delivered by DPD Local which on the day of delivery will give you a 1 to 2 hour window of when your parcel will be delivered.

ForScottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Isle Of Man and Silly Isles
Orders with a weight up to 1.5kg will be dispatch by using Royal Mail 48 tracked service.
Orders between 1.5kg to 10kg = £16.99.
Delivery will be made by DPD could take up to a 2-5 day delivery service from being dispatched from us, depending on your post code.
Free delivery is only available from £129.00 on any order.
For Jersey and Guernsey
Orders with a weight up to 1.5kg will be dispatch by using Royal Mail 48 tracked service.
Orders between 1.5kg to 10kg = £21.99.
Delivery will be made by DPD and this will be a 2-5 day delivery service from the date of dispatch from us.
Free delivery is only available from £129.00 on any order.
Republic Of Ireland
Unfortunately we are currently not delivering any parcel to Republic Of Ireland, due to the customs duty and VAT charges made by the Irish Tax and Customs. All orders placed online will be cancelled.
NOTE:We also reserve the right to change our courier services without any prior notice to our customers.
Please note that on the very rare occasion of adverse weather conditions, your order may be delayed for longer than the stated period of time. Unfortunately we have no control over this, however we would like to assure customers that everything would be done in our power to get your order delivered to you as quickly as possible.
We cannot be held responsible for any parcel, dispatched by us, and is then lost in transit to you. We will however investigate the matter on your behalf with our couriers, and put a claim in for you. Whilst waiting for the claim to be completed, you can place a new order and purchase the items online should you still wish to have the goods. However, if you have requested a safe place for delivery, and the courier carries out the set requirements, no further claim can be made to The Handle Studio Ltd in the event of orders being taken from your property without your permission, as you have already agreed to accept liability for such a loss under the terms of the agreement.
Should any order be returned to us as 'not called for' or 'not collected' after unsuccessful delivery attempts, the order will be cancelled and a full refund given, less the initial postage fee. Where free delivery was given on the initial order, a delivery charge of £10 will be deducted from the refund in this instance, to cover the return postage fee charged by our courier. If you have entered the incorrect delivery information and our courier cannot deliver, the order can be sent to another address but you will be liable for the additional postage cost. Should the order be returned back to us due to the delivery address not being correct on entry by you the customer, you will have the cost of both the initial delivery fee and return to sender fee deducted from the order value, any remaining monies will be refunded back onto your original payment method.
