Are these handles likely to tarnish like regular copper pipe would, or would I need to put a metal treatment on them?

Thank you for your enquiry.
The handles will not tarnish or patina like copper pipework. We don't advise that any treatment be used or any abrasives, surface wipes, or astringents are used as this will break down the finish. All we advise is you use a mild washing up liquid to clean them and then dry with a micro-fibre cloth.
