Placing your order

Please make sure that when placing your order that all the contact and delivery details are correct otherwise there may be a delay in processing your order.

If you wish to place a order but would like to pay by cheque or postal order please take the reference number of the intended item(s) and use the contact us to email us the details of the order you require. You will be then contacted by email that your order has been received by us, All orders made by cheque will be processed once we have cleared funds. This may take up to 7 working days.

Our website is intended for use by adults.

There is no mimimun order required. We currently do not operate an 'Account' facility.

We reserve the right to delay or refuse orders where a transaction contains incomplete details that cannot be verified or where fraud is suspected.

We reserve the right to alter the pricing of our products without prior notice.
The prices displayed in our website are in British pounds and are all inclusive of V.A.T. at 17.5%.

Payments

All Payments are made through a secure online payment facility and accept all types of major debit and credit cards, no debit or credit card information is held by The Handle Studio only the delivery address and order details are known to us.

Payments can also be made by cheque or postal order, payments must be made out to The Handle Studio and sent to;

Cancellation rights and returns

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a right to cancel your purchase.  However to exercise this right, you must notify us in writing via email or letter within 7 days from the day you receive your goods.  No right of cancellation, refund or return exists under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, once you have used the product, unless the product is defective and you are returning it for this reason.

Should you need to return your product because it is defective, please state the defect or defects.  Any goods should be returned in a re-saleable condition, however if in an incomplete state we will be unable to issue a refund.  Costs for return carriage are payable by the customer unless we have agreed otherwise.  We recommend using a recorded and insured service as we cannot be responsible for damages or lost deliveries.  We will not issue refunds for any items lost or stolen in transit to us.  If your returned goods are lost or stolen in transit back to us, you should claim compensation from the company that shipped the return.

We will refund the cost of standard or recorded postage incurred if the product was incorrectly sent by us, or where the product has been returned due to a defect.  However, we will not refund any courier, overnight or express element of any delivery or postage charge including Royal mail special delivery. 

If you had placed an incorrect order, or you decide that the order is not suitable you must comply with the following terms;

1, You must notify us within 7 days from the receipt of your order if you wish to be refunded.

2, There will be a restocking charge of 20% of the goods total.

3, You will be liable for the cost of the original and return postage costs.

4, Please e-mail us with your reasons for returning the goods in order to give you with a returns authorisation reference code.

We aim to process refunds within 14 days after the items have been received.  Please contact us prior to returning goods for your returns authorisation code.

Shipping

All orders received by 3pm are processed the same working day and shipped to you within 7 working days (subject to availability) by royal mail or city link services.

Delivery is free with every order over £59 to Mainland UK only, Excludes Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. All orders below £59 are charged as follows for Mainland UK;

Orders up to £4.99, Postage will be £2.99.

Orders from £5.00 to £9.99, Postage will be £3.99.

Orders from £10.00 to £19.99, Postage will be £4.99.

Orders from £20.00 to £39.99. Postage will be £5.99.

Order from £40.00 to £58.99, Postage will be £6.99.

Fast Delivery Service Mainland UK only £8.99

Please note shipping costs are calculated according to weight and fees.

We reserve the right to ship products at a later date (up to 28 days after purchase) where the product ordered is not in stock at the time of purchase.  In this very rare situation you will be contacted with an estimated delivery date, or offered a full refund instead of delivery of the product.

Shipping is only available to the United Kingdom.

Complaints

We endeavour to respond to all customer complaints within 2 working days.

Terms and conditions

These Terms & Conditions set out the entire agreement and understanding between you and The Handle Studio.  We reserve the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time without giving prior notice to you.

Your statutory rights are unaffected.

The only information we hold is your contact name, delivery address and your order, and is held securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.  We do not hold any credit/debit card or account information.  We are committed to protecting your privacy.
