I'm not clear from the image if this is a bronze colour on the top surface or this is chrome....

Thank you for your question. This handle is polished chrome all over. The colour you are seeing is the reflection of the surrounding area from whenever the picture was taken of the handle. As polished chrome is a very highly reflective surface, just like a mirror, it is quite difficult to capture the finish without picking up reflections.
